Last night I was getting out of the subway to go to rehearsal and as I climbed the stairs I was eye-level with the feet of the person several steps ahead of me. All I could see was a pair of Danskos. My first thought was, “That must be a dancer.” I immediately backtracked because of how silly it is to make such a leap even though I know a ton of dancers who wear them. But then I looked up and recognized a dancer who rehearses at my studio. How bizarre when these strange thoughts come true.
